April Fools Dinner (Dessert)

We had some left over rice krispie treats and pudding from making our April Fools KFC so we decided to make this fun April Fools Chicken Nuggets, Peas & Carrots, and Macaroni & Cheese Dinner as well! It’s very easy to make! For the Mac & Cheese we cut vanilla Tootsie Rolls in 4 strips. We shaped them into the noodle shapes by just rolling and pressing with our fingers. We used a toothpick to make a hole…

We used a vanilla pudding cup to make the “Cheese Sauce. We colored it with a little bit of red and yellow food coloring. Mix it with the Tootsie Roll “noodles” and save a few to press on top and around the sides.

We made the “Chicken Nuggets” by shaping them with rice krispie treats. We used our left over peanutbutter/white chocolate from the KFC Dinner (you could also use any frosting). We melted that again and spread around the outside. We dipped them in crushed bran flakes (you could also use reg. corn flaks..or crushed graham crackers). Set aside to dry.

For the Peas and Carrots we cut pieces off of green and orange Starburst with kitchen scissors and just shaped them with our fingers. Very easy! A fun dessert to serve the kids on April Fools or the kids will also have a lot of fun making this one themselves!
