We were asked by Eggo to be their Chief Waffle Officers and come up with our own creative ways to use Eggo products. We wanted to make something fun and sweet for a kids dessert so we came up with this silly Eggo Monkey Banana Split!

How To Make a Monkey Banana Split

  1. Start out by scooping the chocolate ice cream in a bowl. Place it in the freezer while you are gathering up your other goodies to decorate.
  2. Toast 3 mini Eggo waffles.
  3. Take the ice cream out of the freezer.
  4. Place 2 mini Eggo waffles on the sides for ears and 1 mini Eggo waffle on the top for the nose.
  5. Cut a mini marshmallow in half for the eyes.
  6. Use regular chocolate chips for the nostrils and mini chocolate chips for the mouth and pupils.
  7. Attach them using peanut butter or chocolate cookie frosting.
  8. Cut a banana in half and placed it on the sides.
  9. Spray whipped cream on the top and bottom and place a cherry on top!

We had so much fun making this silly Monkey Banana Split and we hope your kids love it as well!:)
