Thanksgiving Turkey Twizzler Cookie Pops

We created these fun Thanksgiving Turkey Cookie Pops using left over candy from Halloween. You would not believe the amount of candy my boys brought home from trick or treating & we are making use of it!  These are easy to make & kids will love to help decorate these themselves!

Thanksgiving Turkey Twizzler Cookie Pops

Vanilla Wafers (regular & mini)
Marshmallows
Twizzlers (assorted in the fun size packs)
Edible Eyes
Caramel Bits
Cookie Icing (Betty Crocker)
Candy Orange Sunflower Seeds
Orange Spinkles
Lollipop Sticks or Decorative Straws

Start out by pushing the stick into the bottom of the marshmallow. Squeeze icing on a vanilla wafer & place the marshmallow on top. Then line a few vanilla wafers around the top. Squeeze the icing on the top side of the marshmallow.  Cut the Twizzlers in half & place them on top.  To make the front you want to attach a mini vanilla wafer on top of a regular sized wafer with the icing.  Do the same with the eyes & sprinkles. Squeeze more icing on top of the marshmallow & place the cookie on the front. We also shaped caramel bits using our fingers to make the wings.

Let dry for about 20 minutes or until set....

Now you have this cute little Turkey Pop!

Here is a side view...

Now the kids can gobble up this fun Turkey Pop & they will love making this as well!

You are really creating great memories for your boys. I know I love it when my son remembers each of the special birthday cakes that I have made for him.
